Rachel B. Hitch received her B.A. from Bloomsburg University in 1997, and her J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2002.  During law school, she served as Attorney General of the law school’s honor court and membership editor of the law review.  In 2002, Ms. Hitch was the recipient of the Pro Bono Public Service Award of the North Carolina State Bar.

 

Ms. Hitch joined Schwartz & Shaw in 2002 and practices exclusively education law, with an emphasis on issues in special education.

 

Ms. Hitch is a member of the North Carolina Council of School Attorneys and the National Council of School Attorneys. 

 

Ms. Hitch is married to Jeremy Hitch.
